Stephani Michel
Stephani is an appellate advocate whose practice focuses on appeals and proceedings in Texas and federal appellate courts. In addition to drafting briefs and helping clients navigate the appellate process, Stephani has experience in assisting trial teams with all stages of trial. The broad subject-matter of her practice spans from complex commercial disputes to litigation implicating oil and gas issues, trust and estates law, bankruptcy, and more.
Prior to joining the firm, Stephani practiced in the appellate group at Bracewell LLP. Before that, she clerked for the Honorable Gregg J. Costa of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Stephani graduated with high honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where she was named a Chancellor at Large. Before attending law school, she worked as a Certified Public Accountant in the oil and gas industry.
