Amanda L. Reichek
Amanda recently concluded a six-year term on Texas’ Fifth District Court of Appeals in Dallas. As a Justice on the Court Amanda authored over 500 opinions and was on panel for hundreds more. The largest and busiest intermediate court of appeals in the state, the Fifth District Court of Appeals has jurisdiction over appeals originating in the trial courts of Dallas, Collin, Rockwall, Grayson, Kaufman, and Hunt Counties. While on the court, Amanda consistently received the highest rating from the Dallas Bar Association, and earned a reputation as a fair, serious, and hard-working judge. Prior to joining the Court, Amanda litigated in federal and state courts for nearly 20 years. Her extensive litigation background and judicial experience give her unique insight into conflicts pending in trial and appellate courts, and she brings this experience to bear on her clients’ behalf. She is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Amanda is the current Chair of the Appellate Section of the Dallas Bar Association, and has served as Co-Chair and Secretary. She is a frequent speaker on appellate law topics.
